I don't normally do internet personality quizzes, but I couldn't pass up this one.

According to this, I'm...

Hal Clement

(Harry C. Stubbs)

A quiet and underrated master of "hard science" fiction who, among other things, foresaw integrated circuits back in the 1940s.

This pleases me greatly. Hal's cool. Mission of Gravity remains one of my favorite tales of swashbucking seagoing adventure and hard SF -- and probably still has more than a little influence on my own unformed work.

Despite my reputation as a Heinlein apologist, I'm actually happier coming up with someone like Hal than I would have been getting RAH -- I love Unca Bob, but I see his flaws and try not to emulate them.

What did the rest of you get? Let's see that comment section!

Apparently I'm Olaf Stapledon - Standing outside the science fiction "field", he wrote fictional explorations of the futures of whole species and galaxies.

And I can honestly say I've never heard of the guy!

~Grins and sends ruffles and chocolate cake to the Boojum Snark~ Hey Athe. Long time no see. :>
