What Science Fiction Writer Are You?
Dec. 29th, 2002 11:06 amI don't normally do internet personality quizzes, but I couldn't pass up this one.
According to this, I'm...
A quiet and underrated master of "hard science" fiction who, among other things, foresaw integrated circuits back in the 1940s.
This pleases me greatly. Hal's cool. Mission of Gravity remains one of my favorite tales of swashbucking seagoing adventure and hard SF -- and probably still has more than a little influence on my own unformed work.
Despite my reputation as a Heinlein apologist, I'm actually happier coming up with someone like Hal than I would have been getting RAH -- I love Unca Bob, but I see his flaws and try not to emulate them.
What did the rest of you get? Let's see that comment section!

A voice truly unique in all of literature.
Can't say I remember any works by Octavia, although I'm sure I have some in my library somewhere.
