Mar. 12th, 2004 10:38 am- What was the last song you heard?
- "The Ballad of Serenity", by Joss Whedon and Sonny Rhodes
- What were the last two movies you saw?
- What were the last three things you purchased?
- A #5 Meal (Double Cheeseburger) from, gods help me, McDonald's. My body immediately reminded me why we don't eat there.
- A bag of clear glass beads, from Michael's. You know, those flat marbles.
- A Big Foam Wedge from Bob's Foam Factory, so I can sleep with my upper body elevated -- that's going back, alas. It's too high and too rigid.
- What four things do you need to do this weekend?
- See that new Johnny Depp movie with
quelonzia - Clean up the lair
- Explore mutant adolescence in role-playing
- Spend Quality Time with The Fire Of My Heart
- Who are the last five people you talked to?

Date: 2004-03-12 12:28 pm (UTC)If it's any consolation, I find I have a similar reaction to excessive quantities of junk food. Well, I suppose I always have, but the "excessive" threshold is getting lower.
*sigh* Kitty's getting old.

Date: 2004-03-12 02:37 pm (UTC)Heck, I feel like I need to do 20 miles on the exercise bike if I even LOOK at a McDonalds, nowadays..
Now, In 'N' Out... PURRRRR...... THAT is decent fast food that's even somewhat good for you too.

Date: 2004-03-13 04:19 am (UTC)Of course, here in The Land Betwixt Coasts...we've got Sonic! And Wafflw House! Mwah-ha-ha!
As for McDonalds: I haven't been able to eat there since *sigh* I was forced to take an emergency McJob last summer. Let's just say that after you see how folks handle both raw and cooked product, you neeeeever wanna eat there again.
And yes, I imagine that other fast food chains have similarly lax standards of cleanliness. I'm trying not to think about them. Denial is a wonderful thing.
