A friend of mine once said that, and I agree. Gamers love maps. Flooplans for buildings, combat maps for minatures: we love'em.

I just found a jackpot of Gamer Porn at Dragonsfoot.

Have fun.

Where was this stuff when *I* used to play RPGs??? Jeeze.. what a goldmine!

I used to take floor maps of actual historical castles and keeps and use them for my games. One of my favorites was the Cloister's Museum map in NYC.

A friend of mine back in my Texas A&M days used to do exactly that -- he had a big book o' historical castles that he'd use as a reference.

I've got a few historical map and floorplan web sites bookmarked.

I wouldn't mind finding some sites with modern building floorplans, since I play more modern games -- but in this day and age, one doesn't want to be flagged on such things.

WE usually didn't use maps.. but what we did was far geekier.. we made not just our own ships.. but our own fleets in Star Fleet Battles. Taking great care to make them look just like they did in the book. lol.
