Please be advised that, evidently, The Descent, mentioned in the previous post, is only Scary As All Hell when viewed on the big screen, or on a big-screen HDTV. On smaller, lower-resolution screens, it apparently comes off as... comical, as the highly effective use of darkness and closed-in spaces just makes things hard to see, and comes off as "keeping things in the shadows so you don't see how cheesy they are."

In HD, you can see the cave, the expressions, and the creatures in great and fine detail, and they do not come off as cheesy at all.

Watch it with the lights off.

...though not with the power out, since, well, TV.
