Okay, this makes no sense.

I can't get to http://www.d20srd.org on my laptop using Firefox. I have no trouble getting to it using Firefox on my desktop, and when I tried Internet Exploder on my laptop, it came up just fine.
When I try it in Firefox on the laptop, nothing happens. I don't even get an error message. It just stays on whatever page I was on, with http://www.d20srd.org sitting in the address bar as if it wasn't even there.
Down in the Status Bar, it will, really briefly, flash "Waiting for www.d20srd.org..." -- but then, bupkis.
Again, no error messages, no nothing. It doesn't even acknowledge that I'm trying to get to a site.
I got no clue here, people.
Any suggestions?
("Just use IE" is not a valid suggestion. Not only would that rate a cordial invitation to self-fornication in any circumstances, in this particular case, the site in question has a Firefox Search Engine widget that would turn my laptop into the ultimate portable d20 resource.)
