Interface Reflexes

athelindI've found, of late, that part of my brain keeps wanting to take Useful Functions from one interface and apply them to another.
If I'm reading a web site or a LiveJournal entry with a spelling error, I'll look for the Edit tab, as if it were a Wiki. I keep hitting "Ctrl-S" to try to save changes when I'm editing an object in Second Life (which does, near as I can tell, bupkis).
Second Life, conversely, has left me alt-clicking on images and video to try to change the camera angle.
Not just on the Web, either. Every so often, I try to do it with my TV remote.
