Looks like they listened to Cory -- sort of. They've pulled the license fee requirement for LARPs with entry fees, and are going to talk to the "major LARP organizations" to "to hammer out license terms that address their needs and ours, and don't penalize the player community".
I do hope that while they're addressing the needs of the major organizations and the company, they don't tromp on the minor ones and the small-timers. I could easily see them deciding that the best way to "ensure that each game is the best it can be" is to crowd out everyone but the "major" organizations.
