Grapefruit

Part of the fun of eating grapefruit is the nifty serrated spoon.
I don't eat a lot of foods that require specialized, single-purpose utensils.

Actually, the grapefruit spoon is also good for carving out artichoke hearts. It wasn't specifically designed for that, no, but it's not that great a kludge.

hmmm...how would the spoon be for gutting a kiwi fruit? These little devils are murder to peel and mucky to eat with an ordinary blunt spoon.
Me, I peel grape fruit like I do oranges, nectarines, tangerines, mandarins (Deuced clever these!) and Lemons when the fancy takes me.
