Murrrrrr. Pretty.
Oh, and one of these.
foofers keeps ragging on people for "ricing" their computer housings, but... I'd to have a computer with this kind of Art Deco Sci-Fi design aesthetic. I mean, these thing was made from common household appliances of the 'Deco period. Vacuums. Mixers. Blenders. Why can't our modern, sophisticated electronic brains look so... modern and sophisticated?
It's the future, dammit. It should look like it.
Oh, and here's one for
terminotaur.

Being somewhat of an aesthetic minimalist myself, the ideal case for me would be a monolithesque black slab with a few blue LEDs indicating status and some barely-detectable slots for the drives. Preferably as small as possible- thus if I do build a new x86ish system, I may use a Mini-ITX mainboard to do it and forego the use of expansion cards at all. Mini-ITX mainboards may not be larger than 17cm by 17cm. They're designed primarily for heavy-duty pseudo-embedded applications or for use in kiosks or for video playback, but they can also make a decent basic desktop. Especially if they're running some form of Unix...
I'll take one of those Electrolux death rays though. But only if I can mount it on my car...

The "Alien" one is kinda ricey, but the rest are middlin' clever. My personal favorite is the "Shiny Aluminum".
