Lent Update

athelindI have discovered that, even if I'm not on the MUCK, I can still waste hours on the computer accomplishing nothing. Don't ask me HOW. I really, honestly don't seem to be doing much of ANYTHING -- reading mail, skimming the Web, writing random LJ entries, and carrying on ICQ conversations with people who don't feel the need to sit in front of thecomputer awaiting the next message.
I need more desk space, or a drawing board, or something. Something that will let me do other stuff while still having the option of glancing at the computer. Right now, my little wedge-shaped tower means that if I want to do something not computer-related, I have to move to another part of the house entirely.
On a completely unrelated note, The Last Starfighter is on the dish right now. I swear that the RV park where the whole story starts looks exactly like the one we lived in during my high school years....
