I really need to learn to budget my time. Do you want to know how bad I am at it?

I work today from 2PM to 6PM, giving me a free morning.

My plan was to get up, watch some cartoons on TV (I have two or three episodes of The Brave and the Bold backlogged on the DVR), and then mess around on Second Life for a few hours.

Instead, I did laundry, went to the grocery store, made lunch, and did some more laundry.

And at each point, I thought to myself, "as soon as I'm done with this, I'll fire up Second Life or turn on the TV."

And now it's time for work.

I am so bad at budgeting my time that when I deliberately set aside time to goof off, I wind up being productive.

Ahh, it always sucks when that happens. ^^() I too get annoyed when I don't have enough goof off time during the day. Errands and other productivity required shit just keeps getting in the way.

I caught my first ep of Batman: The Brave and the Bold this morning. It's now tanuki-approved. The episode involved a superintelligent ape dissing humans for being a lesser species and was quite fun to watch. ;)

It could be worse, I suppose. You could have spent the morning lying in bed telling yourself, "I'll go watch TV now...zzz."

You'll just have to switch the time you'd set up for being productive over to goofing off. That'll work, right? You won't end up paying bills, or working on your taxes, or something like that?
