Seriously, once one undermines the "usual system", it seems reasonable that this sort of thing would happen.

And, to put the inflection more properly, ONLY 70 miles from St. Louis.

And yes, definitely "Inspector General' quality. I wonder what got him caught?

Yup, that's Missouri for you. I'm slightly surprised this got out to most people a month after the fact, but it looks like they finally named the 'mystery agent' who hoaxed that town. What's more is that the town is now in serious jeopardy of being sued/courthandled by any and all of the people caught in those raids.

Hate to say it....but the town did a stupid in this case. While the average citizen may be kinda clueless, we do expect law enforcement (who have access to attorneys) to be a bit smarter.

From that point of view, I'm afraid they deserve what happens.
