Eggs, Bacon, Sausage and BAN.

Wow. I was prowling around my various journal settings today, and discovered that I have 53 people banned from commenting in my LJ.

I don't REMEMBER ever hitting the Ban button more than once or twice, and I don't recognize many of these names.

I wonder if LJ just has a default list of assholes who are banned unless otherwise designated by the journal owner?

Knock on wood, I've never had occasion to ban anyone, and my list is still empty. You really must be that inflammatory!

Perhaps they're trolls who have changed their account names?

If there is a default list they don't apply it to free accounts, the only name in my list is one I put there.

Good for you! One of the banes of the Internet are trolls. I, for one, am glad I people don't let asshats screw up their boards.
