I've got ice, but so far power and 'net. Then again, it may help that the lines are all buried in my neighborhood. Still, this doesn't bode hugely well for my attempt at leaving for Florida tomorrow...
About 50% of my office went in. I was one of those who didn't. I don't see what the big deal is here in Milwaukee. We had some huge flakes falling about an hour ago, but it's been off and on all morning. Schools are closed, flights are delayed, but out the window I see nothing epic like the NWS and the news have been screaming.
And cold kitty! We lost power around 10 AM on Monday, and as far as I know, it's still off. I'm posting this from work, which didn't have power until this morning, either.
My furnace is gas, but sadly has electrical valves and blower, so was inoperable. My house was "only" 50 degrees when I left for work this morning, which is liveable, but not comfortable.
