I am giggling helplessly after discovering that Peter "Optimus Prime" Cullen's other voice work included Eeyore from the '80s Pooh series.

He's a good enough voice man that you don't notice it automatically, but... oh, jeez... once you know, you can HEAR it. And you start hearing Prime speaking in Eeyore's voice, and vice versa.

"It's snowing still," said Prime gloomily.
"So it is."
"And freezing."
"Is it?"
"Yes," said Prime. "However," he said, brightening up a little, "we haven't had a Decepticon attack lately."

Yeah, Peter Cullen is rather good at playing those 'likeable' sorts of characters...ones you just really attach yourself to due to that certain something in their voice that he provides. :>
