Has anyone else noticed the parallels between the movies Ratatouille and Perfume: The Story of a Murderer, or is it just me?

Heck, would anyone else see both of those movies... or is it just me?

Yep. The attention to how scent and flavor are represented visually is particularly striking. Though the story does go in rather a different direction after it starts...
