Many of the same people who demonize Starbuck's for competing with local coffee shops react to the recent invasion of the Left Coast by Krispy Kreme donuts as if it were the Second Coming.

Date: 2003-05-11 06:35 pm (UTC)During my first year at college, I had donuts from the school for breakfast more than a few times, and for some reason, I almost can't stand any donuts anymore.
I've seen Krispy Kreme donuts. Your hands get so covered in liquidy glaze that you wonder if it'll ever come off. That, in my opinion, is too much.
Dunkin' Donuts is still the original donut store in my opinion, so long live them!
And I support my local bakery by eating their donuts. ^_^
Mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm.
