It's been announced that Heath Ledger has been cast as The Joker in the upcoming sequel to Batman Begins.

Since everyone who's mentioned this has been deliberately avoiding tasteless Brokeback Mountain jokes, I thought I'd break the ice.

It's sad that there'll be little but comparisons of him to Jack, because Heath is a quality actor. I can't...really see him being the Joker, but here's the best of luck to him.
