No, seriously, after today, I really need some distraction...
All The Cool Kids, as they say, have Blogspot blogs. Well, all of the coolest Uncool Kids, anyway. There seems to be a thriving community of comic book review and commentary columns on Blogspot; it seems to be oriented more toward "I'm writing insightful editorials" than LiveJournal.
So, I'm thinking of setting one up, to have a venue for my thoughts and comments on Sequential Art, seperate from my thoughts about politics, gaming, Second Life, my computer problems, religion, food, family, internet memes, fat dragon jokes, vore humor, Otherkin stuff, et cetera, et cetera, et cetera....
All I have to do is come up with A Clever Name.
Alas, my oldest online nom de plume has been usurped in part by a vile pretender who has a well-established following and something of a reputation in the community.
I'm considering "Your Obedient Serpent", but it's not really comics-related.
"Punching the Universe" is another possibility.
"Grauphic Novels"?

Date: 2006-05-11 07:41 am (UTC)You will get 100x more comments and traffic by posting your insightful comic reviews to HERE than starting a blogspot blog that will have a tremendous time getting read. The A-list is an insular and closed world, my friend. You could instantly vault to the top of it by being a major comics professional starting a blog, or you can languish in obscurity.
I tells ya, Livejournal is the Moleskine notebook of blogging systems. STAY HERE.
