I need to call my DSL provider and bitch. Our connection speed has dropped to sub-modem levels.

I'm sure they're going to blame the weather. It gets cold, it gets windy, it gets rainy, and broadband goes to shit. It doesn't matter if it's DSL or Cable; it doesn't matter who the provider is. They all blame the weather, they all insist that they can't do anything about it.

Well, news flash, kids: if you're going to tell me that I'm gonna have degraded service for THREE MONTHS OUT OF THE YEAR, then, by jiminey, you're gonna get equally-degraded PAYMENT for those three months.

That's odd. I've never had any trouble with connection speeds due to weather, be it an ice storm or a hurricane.

That is just something they tell customers to shift the blame from their crappy networks to mother nature, heh.
All ISPs must read from the same script or something ^^
