Yep, that's pretty much my preference. If they're available, my RPG characters almost always carry them in preference to other weapons. Traveller, Mage: The Ascension, whatever. I like the tshook-tshook BLAM.

My airsoft shotgun may not be my most powerful extreme-sporting weapon, but it is most assuredly the most gratifying to fire. Until I get something with full auto, anyway.... and maybe not even then.
