You scored as agnosticism. You are an agnostic. You neither believe nor disbelieve in God. You don't believe it is possible to prove the existence of God (nor lack thereof).

Agnosticism is a philosophy that God's existence cannot be proven. Some say it is possible to be agnostic and follow a religion; however, one cannot be a devout believer if he or she does not truly believe.

Which religion is the right one for you? (new version)

Nothing unexpected here at all -- except possibly that I test more Islamic than Christian. This test may define "Christian" fairly narrowly; honestly, I'm not sure. My responses were probably pretty far even from the loosest Christian doctrines, though, again, scoring higher on Islam, despite my infidel's attitude toward such things as the status of women, makes me wonder.

I note that they didn't really ask anything about, oh, public piety vs. good works, or helping those in need. Did they assume that all the different religions take a similar stand on the importance of actually being decent to other people? Or did they assume that the differences in underlying metaphysical assumptions and abstract morality were more important distinctions?

"Well, I've always said that there's nothing an Agnostic can't do, if he isn't sure whether he believes in anything or not."

Well dang, you score higher as a pagan than I do. :)

And I don't know what's up with the Christianity segment, I certainly would have expected to be more Christian than Islamic myself. I mean, really, me and my uppity ways somehow conforming to Islam?

Maybe they should have mixed in some of the questions from Ultima V character creation on virtues.

I noticed alot of the "key" questions that were Christian were pretty simplistic. Like.. "You believe the Earth was created in six days and God rested on the seventh". Well..sure..if you take the Old Testament literally, which true Christians should NOT. So.. if I mark I don't believe in that, that makes me a non-Christian?

Like most memes of this nature that take themselves too seriously, they are entirely worthless and scant even of entertainment value to my eyes.

That 7 days thing, that's not just Christian, of course; I'm curious, if you said yes, do they increase your Islamic, Christian, and Jewish quotients or not? Because of course they should...

I may have to take this test and do some testing of my own. :)
