Amateur Horror Stories = Terrorism
"My story is based on fiction," said Poole, who faces a second-degree felony terrorist threatening charge. "It's a fake story. I made it up. I've been working on one of my short stories, (and) the short story they found was about zombies. Yes, it did say a high school. It was about a high school over ran by zombies."

Even so, police say the nature of the story makes it a felony. "Anytime you make any threat or possess matter involving a school or function it's a felony in the state of Kentucky," said Winchester Police detective Steven Caudill.
Police have recovered an entire case of reanimation compound cleverly disguised as Cyalume-brand chemical light sticks in Poole's garage. "These kids pretend that they're just innocent light sources, but anyone familiar with the Herbert West case can figure out that these 'raves' are really unholy rituals to animate the dead. Nobody would write about this kind of thing unless they actually planned to make it happen."

In a related story, the state of Kentucky has a standing warrant for Joss Whedon.

That Herbert West. Always a trouble-maker, rooting around, digging up stuff.

Investigators should be paying more attention to rural New England, though, particularly those old fishing towns.

And it was his grandparents that turned his story into the police. Wow. Talk about dysfunction!

And when are they sending the police in to bust the latest Hollywood action movie?

Or is the legitimacy of the threat inversely proportional to the money/influence of the person in question?

Slamming head against a wall.

Good lord. I'd be in a federal prison if I was a few years younger.

My friends and I made our entire High School in Build with Duke Nukem 3d and populated it with non-violent NPC's (The cheerleaders and what not) and had death matches in them.

Happy hatchingday, by the way :D

Heh. A friend of mine wrote pretty good and gory, but suggestive rather than blatant, horror durring his last year of high school. The following fall, the school they made it policy to automatically fail writing projects with strong macabre and supernatural elements.

I'm really happy the system is protecting us from things like, y'know, zombies and monsters. It'd be a crying shame if the adminastration of that young man's school spent that kind of effort going after kids who were doing something that was actully wrong.
