I dunno, it's a pretty shoddy test I think. There really weren't enough questions, not enough parties (I don't see 'libertarian' or 'constitutionalist') and some of the questions are pretty bad. "Are you a Racist"? Come on, no one but a big dumb jerk or someone who is trying to piss someone off says 'yes' to that.

I scored as 'Anarchist'(92), 'Green'(58), 'Socialist'(58). I guess that works.

I'm suspecting that Libertarians get lumped in with the Anarchists. Based on my scores anyway.

What annoys me about -ist vs. -ism is that one is correct, and the other is not.

"Communism" is a philosophy. "Anarchism" (more usually "anarchy") is a philosophy. "Communist" and "anarchist" refer to those who follow said philosophies.

"Communist" and "Anarchist" are also the adjective forms, and thus the usual name for the parties. It's the "Communist Party", not the "Communism Party".

Of course, they use "Democrat" instead of "Democratic", and "Republican" instead of "Theocratic Neo-Feudalist" -- wait, "Republican" is both the noun and the adjective, isn't it?

So it's all messed up. But, screw it, I'm still an Anarcho-socialist who votes Democrat.

What happened?

Three things, mostly, sort of intertwined.

1.) My mother continues to fight cancer and the shitty capitalistic health care system is grating on our collective nerves. The doctor's are all great, it's the dealing with paying for it all is the problem.


2.) My dad was fired from his job for 'being too expensive'. What this really meant was the health care payments for my father's plan went way up due to my mom's cancer.

3.) I was sort of Outted to my parents ahead of schedule as having GID, Gender Identity Disorder. I finally decided to tell my parents about it, but I wanted to wait until her latest Chemotherapy was done. It didn't work out as well as I planned and I'm still dealing with the fallout.
