My low score for Musical/Rhythmic raises some questions, though. I don't play any instruments, and my singing voice is cacaphonic; the quiz largely focused on that kind of question. However, I find I can memorize almost anything more readily if it's set to music; to this day, I sometimes hum old "Multiplication Rock" tunes whilst doing math. My ideal form of learning is to listen to a song while reading the lyrics. Often, while out walking or driving with the radio off, I'll find myself spontaneously humming, whistling, or scat singing intricate, baroque, complex tunes. I have to wonder if my low Musical/Rhythmic score is because of a lack of any real training in conventional skills (which in turn stems from my laziness and my dislike for anything resembling practice), rather than a lack of ability.

The questions focused a great deal on ability as opposed to aptitude. Of course, aptitude would be very, very difficult to measure in this kind of circumstance.

I scored equally high in linguistic and musical, which is not actually true. I am definitely an oral learner, first and foremost. I can't speed read because I need to hear the words in my head, I can sing almost any melody you set in front of me on paper with very few errors, and I have a very good sense of pitch. But the final test is one they didn't ask: when you're upset, how do you deal with it? My first answer is to write it out; my second, to listen to something classical like Tchaikovosky. I am more of a linguistic personality than I am musical, because I have less musical creativity in me than I do verbal creativity.

If you think it should be higher, you're probably right. These tests only test how we think about ourselves, and they're not very good even at that.

I work (i.e. imagine and write) quite well to music because it stimulates my mind, presenting a great deal of images for me. I noted that I put that question (Can you project clear, crisp images in your mind) at an almost always, as I'm very visual in my thinking. Pacing and walking around the house or room also helps my thinking, so I suppose that's a physical trait as well. While I recall a lot of my playing of the clarinet, I don't think I can recall too many specifics of music in general. I scored highest on intrapersonal, with verbal/linguistic being next.
