Further Confusion Panel Confusion
Jan. 3rd, 2005 07:13 amA few months ago, someone (was it you,
paka?) was asking for volunteers for various panels at Further Confusion 2005.
diadexxus and I were specifically asked to revisit last year's Dragon panel, expanding it to encompass "Reptiles and Other Scalies". I agreed to that, and also volunteered to contribute to the panel on Bats.
I've heard nothing about that since then, and FC 2005 is now a week and a half away. Mea culpa, in part, for not thinking about this sooner, but still and nonetheless -- what's the status on these? Am I going to collect my Con Program on Thursday and find I have Obligations?

Date: 2005-01-03 08:13 pm (UTC)I am fairly sure the dragon panel takes place around 2 on Saturday, and I'd love to have other panelists. I might be wrong about the time as the schedule keeps getting revamped, but I'm pretty sure it doesn't interfere with any of the big-name events or rehearsals. Please let me check on that!
The default is that if you did flake, I'd be covering; so it's not like there'd be a panel with nobody on it.

Date: 2005-01-03 08:34 pm (UTC)Last year, Noodles dropped in for part of the panel. It'd be fun to have both Noodles and Scabrous this time. (Eastern... Western!)
And what about the Bat panel? Who's on that one? I'd like to pitch in on that one, too, though my bat cred is mostly that I work with sonar for a living and Google a lot.

Date: 2005-01-03 08:43 pm (UTC)Right now the bat panel is me, and vaguely trying to convince Richard to swing through in costume. I'd seriously love to have someone else on it. I don't remember the time off the top of my head, though.

Date: 2005-01-03 09:59 pm (UTC)"Bat Panel" is currently showing on the FC website as scheduled Sunday, 2p-3:30p. Not conflicting with anything major, afaik.
Interestingly enough, the panel on scalies is 3:30p-5p, also on Sunday, in a different room.
If you could switch the Bat Panel's room with Furry Christianity panel, you wouldn't even have to get up and move.< *wry grin*
