I love 2015.

We live in a time when saying, "I buy whatever beer is on sale" doesn't mean "I only drink the cheapest swill", it means "there is such a wide range of excellent-quality craft brews that are such high quality overall that I can try new things based on what's discounted, and get something excellent."

And FSM knows, the Bay has no great shortage of superb local brewers! It's always a treat to visit Porky's in San Leandro - not just deliciously unhealthy pizza, but a wide assortment of local beers as well.

(And looking at UpCider's menu suggests there's quite an upturn in cider makers' fortunes in the US, too! I'm very pleased to see that - it's a drink that's gone underappreciated for a long time)
