For those of you who have been wondering:

[livejournal.com profile] quelonzia and I have moved ourselves and our family into The Very Large House In The Hills.

We're finally getting unpacked and furniture rearranged. It's actually starting to look like we live here now! And we may actually have a decent library, for the first time in far too long -- books on shelves instead of

We've had some trouble getting DSL set up, so I'm stuck on Dial-Up. After three weeks of No Net Whatsoever, even that seems wonderful. Last year, during almost identical problems setting up cable after our last move, I noted that nothing underscores which web comics you actually like vs. the ones you just read from habit like getting kicked down to dial-up speeds for a few weeks. I eagerly attacked the missed weeks of Schlock Mercenary, Dandy & Company, Suburban Jungle and Ozy & Millie, among others, and I morned the lost pages of Digger that I won't be able to see until I can afford to pay for a subscription. A goodly number of strips in my "Favorites" list, however, are just gonna have to wait for high-speed access so I can page through them quickly.

In most cases, it's because they're amusing-but-not-vital-to-my-psychological-well-being. Dragon Must Have BLAM.

In the case of Gene Catlow, alas, it's that Albert Temple's lushly-inked full-page comics take so long to load!

Catching up on my LJ Friends List is a lost cause, however, so I apologize if I'm not up to date on everyone's happenings.
