Athelind Explains Enterprise
Apr. 12th, 2004 12:40 pmEnterprise is actually a TNG-era holodrama written by 23d century historical illiterates. It's like the Federation's version of Xena: Warrior Princess, only without the charm of the Raimis.
This still doesn't make the show watchable, but it keeps my Inner Trekkie happy. I can watch reruns of the old shows without the few sporkworthy episodes I've seen of the current show ruining it for me.
Haven't managed to doubletalk my way around the prequels and "special editions" of a certain trilogy, though.

(Ironicly, there *was* a Starship 'Enterprise' in the right era for the TV show, only it doesn't look anything like the one showed on 'Enterprise', which is nothing more than a reuse of the Akira class starship seen in Star Trek 8: First Contact)
um .. I'm not a Trekkie - honest!
That certain trilogy
Date: 2004-04-12 03:21 pm (UTC)I wish we could have non-special edition versions of the original trilogy, without those damn Ep4,5,6 titles on them. Unless Lucas is saving those for the 6 DVD purist edition....
