Magnitude 3.9 in Morgan Hill, CA -- I just felt it.

Catastrophic wildfires, record solar flares, earthquakes -- what next? Birds and snakes? An aeroplane?

Lenny Bruce doesn't seem too concerned.

Earth, Air, Fire, Water (the rain we had over the weekend)

It's an elemental thing.

Yes, birds.

The magnetic field of the earth will stop because the core stopped turning, and all the birds will be disoriented and fly into buildings and windows like deranged animals.

(And hopefully, not only can you tell I'm joking, but the movie to which I am making a reference.)

It's already been TEOTWAWKI for some time now... I guess it's time nature caught up. BTW, get ready for another El Niño.

Athe was a major fan of "that movie". I found it light comic book entertainment. ;>

I'd rather have El Sombrero...or El Diablo...or even El Burrito. Especially if it's TEOTWAWKI. ;>

Hey, in the waining days of my tenure at Joan's lab, I went to see it during a slow day at the lab, on it's last day of it's first run. I actually shared the theater with...one other person, and was disappointed at that. :)

Not often you get to see an entertaining movie in a private screening.

All of California will sink into the Atlantic ocean, astounding scientists and Nostradamus experts everywhere, who thought it would sink into the Pacific Ocean, the Colorado River or Lake Tahoe. ]X=3D

Seriously though... uh... um... okay, I'm a bit light on the serious side tonight.
