I've taken The Political Compass test before, but they've updated and added questions.

Unlike most of the silly quizzes that pop up on LiveJournal, this one is actually useful and informative.

I wound up here this time.

It's hard not to think of this plot in terms of D&D "alignment". I'll leave it up to you to decide which axis is which, la la la.

I think the chaotic-lawful axis would be pretty apparent, but yes, which way you'd orient the good-evil axis probably depends on where you are on the real graph...

Well well! I surprised myself. I'm a just about right on the x-axis, equally liberal and authoritative, but definitely leaning more on the left! I can wave to Ghandi from where I am. :)

I thought for sure I'd be more on the right, but not surprised if I was a half half on the libertarian/authoritative.

And here I thought I was a Ranger. :)

Right-left -4, libertarian-authoritarian -2.72. So I'm kinda like you but less so.

But then it's hard to feel strongly about political matters when you feel even more strongly that individuals differ so much that no single answer is ever correct for all cases.
