Your Obedient Serpent appears to be showing the first symptoms of a cold or sinus infection.

In the past, a day or three before any overt physical symptoms have appeared, Your Obedient Serpent has found intelligent thought to become increasingly difficult, and attempts to communicate coherently even more so.

At the very least, this is a severe allergy attack, which can also bring about similar cognitive dysfunction.

Your Obedient Serpent formally apologizes for his recent bouts of Teh Stupid.

Can you get Cold FX where you live?

And what about zinc lozenges?

Zinc lozenges are easily obtainable; I also have zinc caplets, I think. I'm not sure about Cold FX; I'll check at the drugstore.

I was using those zinc SWABS for a while, but finally decided that they weren't making a difference.

Hey, now that I'm coming to grips with my own depression, I'm intensely aware how a person feels can make them stupid. I look back at my life and I see, like, all these decisions I made because I was depressed with deep horror and sadness.

I hope you feel better!

Yes! Looks like I more-or-less qualify for two of the three positions. I'm gonna try to get enough brain together to fill out the online apps tomorrow.
