Recently, my Friends list has been overwhelmed by militant atheists, several different Pagans and Otherkin involved in Little-Endian/Big-Endian debates with other Pagans and Otherkin, and an equally-vociferous and rational brawl over, of all things, organic produce.

As I was on the verge of posting something rather caustic about all this nonsense, morchades provided a most-welcome reminder link to Jon Carroll's 2005 column announcing the formation of the Unitarian Jihad:
