If you were a D&D character, what race would you be?
Half-Dragon.

What race would you be if the DM allowed you to play something other than the standard PH stuff? (From splatbooks, Krynn, Forgotten Realms, the Monster Manual, etc.)
Dragon! Isn't there a d20 version of Council of Wyrms yet? Dragon Magazine had Dragon PC Progression from Levels 1-20 a couple of years ago. Dragon, dagnabbit.

Homebrew, unless it's one of the cool, funky third-party settings like City-State of the Invicible Overlord or Blackmoor or even Dragon*Star.

The one where this guy goes from being a bachelor to a grandfather in the space of a year, and winds up with all his stepkids and grandkids living under one roof. I never miss an episode.

...you know, most genre movies are kinda sucky places to live.
Oh, did you mean any genre OF movie? Space Opera or Superhero, most assuredly.

Actually, I have some Dragon back issues with a Savage Species style breakdown of dragons as racial classes. I'll try and figure out a way of getting copies to you or something.

I have the issue in which they broke down the 1-20 class progession for metallic dragons, myself. I've seen the one for the chromatics, but don't have it, alas.

Tsk Tsk.. You and Jirris both didn't know what Warmachine is. I'm dissappointed. ;)

Though, granted, the only reason *I* know about it is because the last company I worked for was on the verge of making the official video game version of it before we got dissolved.

It's a pretty neat Miniatures universe with huge steam powered magical mechs. There's the standard mechanical army of the undead, the holier-than-though religious dudes (seriously, one of the leaders of this clan is so holy that she floats, and has to have three people drag her around on chains so she doesn't fly away), the tough-as-nails Russuans from the Land of NaughtButSnow, and one more that I can't remember right now.
