If you had to give up swimming, skiing, hiking, or biking for the rest of your life, which would you choose, and why?

Skiing.

Totally skiing.

Without hesitation.

In fact, I hereby give up skiing for the rest of my life.

Exactly. Precisely. Definitely. This. However you want to put it.

(I've already broken all the bones I want to break, and I understand the thrill, but I can get it from roller coasters, too.)

(Hilariously, one of the two CAPTCHA words is "Gravity.")

Answer; the one which requires disposable income I don't have, and which includes the side benefit of socializing with people who are already in a social circle I am not in. This needs thought how? Anyone can swim, hike or bike; the biggest investment you might need is what, a wetsuit, fins, a semi-decent bicycle, a nice set of boots and some day use fees.

Who in their right mind 'give up' hiking? Isn't it just.. walking, but without the pavement? I don't think any of those other three would even come close to losing your ability to walk.

Not only am I willing to give up skiing for the rest of my life, I am willing to give it up for my life before this day as well.

Cool! Let's form a Non-Skiing Club!
