If you watch both Smallville and the X-Men movies, you might have noticed that they use the same building exterior for both Lex's mansion and the Xavier Acadamy. That building is Hatley Castle, an Edwardian estate on Vancouver Island that now houses Royal Roads University.

Since Royal Roads makes their facilities available for rental, their website provides...floorplans! Whoo hoo! More maps!

Better yet, they have several plans of individual rooms, enlarged enough to make practical game maps, if you're willing to adjust your scale.

Since I currently play in a Mutants & Masterminds game set at Xavier Acadamy, I thought this might add a nice tough of verisimilitude.

But Lex's mansion doesn't have the big underground goodness! And I suppose it's not really weird, there...I've seen portions of the 'mansion' in Smallville episodes I've watched, and the only thing I ever put together with the Academy is the main entrance hall. We, or I at least, don't really see other rooms pointing out the same interior. I trust this of course, I'm just saying it doesn't automatically click.
