Enough of this liberal blather.

With the Democrats revealed as the hollow, ineffectual decadents they are, I should take a closer look at other parties.

Like the Libertarians.

You could just remove your brain, replace it with a copy of the bible, and try Republicanism! :)

Snerk.

It couldn't be the WHOLE Bible, of course. The alleged "Fundamentalists" and "Biblical Literalists" leave out whole inconvenient swaths like "Love thy neighbor as thyself" and "let he who is without sin cast the first stone" and "don't eat pork or shellfish".

Father, forgive them, for they know not what they do.

They care not, either who they do it unto.

On the contrary. They care a great deal whom they do it unto.

They care that they're doing it unto someone else.

Won't deny the Libertarian Party has problems. Including the fact that they have some substantial disagreements about what the Libertarian ideal is.

Still would take it over the other two, right now, though; at least they're headed in the right direction.

You just noticed this about the mainstream democratic party?

Me personally I don't like the ideological restrictions that come with being part of any particular party. I'm just me, a big, fat, intelligent liberal and proud of it.

Now if only the Libertarians would actually develop a platform I think doesn't sound like conservative whackjobism...

Conservative whackjobism...gods, I love these technical terms.
