The Hoard Potato announces: the Jackpot has been claimed!

And now, everyone can stop the endless round of the same ol' Disney-Marvel mashup gags, because there's no way to top the awesome of this:

For those of you not in the loop, that's a take-off on the first on-panel appearance of Mary Jane Watson.

Yes. Thank you. You win the internet.

Now we can return to our regularly scheduled cynicism!

This wins on so many levels.

I knew there was something odd about Eore, even with that how-emo-I-am routine.

Yeah, but in a few years, Tigger's gonna be selling his soul to Satan to erase this, right? ;)

Actually, when I recast Pooh characters into humans*, I frequently genderbend the Eeyore character and match her with the Tigger character.

* Where do you think spacetime Arthur came from? Put a few pounds on him, take off some height, put him in a red sweater ...

Its not that I mind Eyeore as MJ... its more that now I can't figure out who'd be Felicia Hardy or Gwen Stacy... and my brain seems to be locked there!

I'll just borrow the quote my dad posted in his blog:

"By now it's common knowledge (at least in internet time) that Disney has purchased Marvel Comics for four billion dollars. In other words, the hostile takeover by gazillionaire investor Scrooge McDuck beat a last minute offering from LexCorp to purchase the parent company of Stark Enterprises."
