I remember moving out of my dorm for the last time- and there's some temporary. I didn't feel much about leaving the room itself, but man I just about lost it when I got in the car and drove off campus. I was on the five year plan, however, and I had lost a lot of friends to the Graduation Beast by the time I got my own bit o' parchment.    The university apartments at OU were very temporary-feeling and institutional. Though I didn't live in them, I did oft visit friends that did. It's like they were all designed to say, "Don't get comfy- you aren't staying long." I might have considered moving there (where I could stay all year instead of having to move out every May) but for one thing- they didn't have broadband nor any way to get it. Deal-breaker.
